FOUNDER OF REPRESENTED

The is no house like the house of belonging-David Whyte

This quote has always resonated deeply with me. As a woman, mother, and global citizen, I've experienced firsthand the transformative power of connection. Living and working in different countries has taught me that our most profound connections begin with ourselves, but the support and validation we receive from others are essential in making us feel truly seen and valued in our workplaces, schools, and communities.

That's why I founded Represented – to create a welcoming space where professionals from the Global Majority can build the connections they need to thrive.

My Journey

I'm a Mexican woman who has spent the past two decades living and working abroad. During my career in academia, I developed a deep passion for community-building and inclusive transformation. I've had the privilege of working with renowned organisations like Microsoft and the British Council, building collaborative communities and empowering diverse voices.

Through my research and experience, I've honed a unique methodology – the Champion Method – that guides individuals and organisations step-by-step in creating thriving communities that foster inclusivity, amplify impact, and drive meaningful change.

My Vision

My vision for Represented is to create a world where everyone feels represented, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential. I believe that by fostering authentic connection and building supportive communities, we can break down barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and unlock a future of limitless possibilities.

My Expertise

As a recognised community expert, I've been awarded the Learning & Teaching Innovation Fellowship and named a finalist for the Learning Technologist of the Year Award. I've also secured over £500k in funding for research and innovation projects.

I'm an in-demand speaker and trainer, and I've delivered over 35 keynotes, invited talks, and presentations on topics ranging from how to build communities to inclusive leadership.
